Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer for a 100% remote role. You will design and execute tests for information systems, lead test activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and security.

A strong programming background in C#, Java, or Python is required, along with experience in both manual and automated testing. Applicants should have extensive SDLC/Agile experience, proficiency with test automation tools, CI/CD, and defect

• Proven experience on complex software projects with high-quality deliverables.
• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficient in test planning, writing test cases and scripts.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures to ensure information systems meet standards and end-user requirements.
• Develop test plans, schedules, and approaches.
• Write test cases and scripts and identify data for test scenarios.
• Conduct walkthroughs on test cases/scripts with Test Managers and Leads.
• Perform and lead tests to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
• Document and communicate test results and support issue resolution.
• Create daily test metrics and reporting.
• Occasionally perform other IT systems engineering activities.
