SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer to perform software systems engineering for acquisition, development and sustainment of aviation programs. This on-site role requires an active Secret Clearance and is based at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD.

Qualifications

At least ten years experience performing software and systems engineering activities.
Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and/or software.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software requirements
Review and evaluate vendor software specifications
Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration
Conduct analysis of software defects
Coordinate with cybersecurity subject Matter experts
Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs, etc.)
Support the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process
Participate in Agile and SAFe team processes
Prepare and review Statements of Work (SOWs) and Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
Develop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs)
Support technical evaluations of Contractor proposals
