Job summary

Turnberry Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Software Testing Senior Advisor to join our Digital Modernization practice in CT. You will implement and maintain automated testing environments, develop regression suites for RESTful and client-side features, and generate large data sets for validation against business rules.

The role requires 10+ years in automated test software, cloud experience, and strong communication skills. Hybrid work and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• BS or degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years developing automated test software.
• Proficient in automated test systems for transactional web apps incl. RESTful services and client-side functionality.
• Programming proficiency in a high-level language and ability to learn new languages quickly.
• Experience with cloud environments.
• Experience with MongoDB and GoLang is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with web app security best practices and security testing.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain an environment and tools for automated testing.
• Maintain documentation of test system and environment.
• Maximize test coverage of most critical features of the system.
• Develop, maintain, and grow a suite of automated regression tests for RESTful services and browser-based functionality.
• Generate large, complex data sets for testing.
• Validate transactional data against documented business rules.
• Collaborate with developers to define hooks for automated testing.
• Participate in Scrum development process.
• Document bugs in the tracking system.
• Clarify business and product requirements and communicate progress, issues, risks.
