The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Testing & Automation Consultant to support a large‑scale modernization initiative within a highly regulated financial services environment. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring quality delivery by leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validating business requirements, managing change impacts, and supporting successful cutover and go‑live activities.

This position requires a strong consultant who can confidently engage with both business and technology stakeholders, influence decision‑making, and drive testing strategies that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate combines deep UAT leadership experience with hands‑on automation expertise and a strong understanding of enterprise transformation programs.

As a Strategio Senior QA Testing & Automation, you will:

• Lead UAT strategy, planning, execution, governance, and reporting across a major modernization program.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood, validated, and testable.
• Establish and maintain end‑to‑end traceability from business requirements through testing, defect management, and final validation.
• Design and oversee execution of manual and automated test scenarios aligned with business‑critical outcomes.
• Facilitate requirements validation workshops and challenge assumptions to ensure complete business coverage.
• Drive adoption and optimization of test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency, consistency, and repeatability.
• Perform change impact assessments and ensure appropriate testing coverage for evolving business requirements.
• Support cutover planning, readiness assessments, defect triage, and production deployment activities.
• Provide executive‑level status reporting, risk assessments, issue management, and escalation support.
• Collaborate with Product, Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, and Release Management teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve QA and UAT methodologies within enterprise transformation environments.

Core Skills

• Proven experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts across large‑scale enterprise programs.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management experience within client‑facing environments.
• Experience translating business requirements into comprehensive end‑to‑end testing strategies.
• Ability to challenge, refine, and validate requirements in partnership with business stakeholders.
• Experience conducting change impact assessments and managing testing scope within dynamic delivery environments.
• Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium and Cypress.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing best practices, and quality governance.
• Financial Services experience, including Banking, Payments, or highly regulated environments.
