Job summary

Resolve Tech Solutions Inc. seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure software quality across retail applications. You will design and execute manual and automated tests, validate REST APIs, and drive regression cycles in a globally distributed team.

A 7–10 year background in QA and strong communication skills are essential to success, with experience in CI/CD and cloud-based testing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in retail environments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end retail operations and how they translate into workflows.
• Experience testing globally deployed applications across multiple regions and languages.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and backend services (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Solid grasp of Agile SDLC practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and desk checks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and testing strategies for cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
• Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate functionality.
• Test mobile apps, web applications, and backend services across regions and devices.
• Coordinate QA testing needs across project teams, managing timing and priorities.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, regression issues, and enhancement requests.
• Review user interfaces for consistency, usability, and functionality.
• Ensure user stories are brought to Done through thorough testing and validation.
• Understand deployment strategies and testing environments (staging, UAT, production).
• Maintain clear and comprehensive test documentation.
