Job summary

RTX Corporation seeks a senior procurement professional to lead software strategy, negotiate terms for software licenses and SaaS agreements, and drive cost savings while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements. The role collaborates across legal, finance and cyber teams to align vendor terms with RTX objectives.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 7 years experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience in Consulting, Sourcing, Procurement Management with at least 5 years in Software environment.
• In-depth understanding of software licensing models for Software.
• Strong ability to connect technical requirements to contract performance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills; ability to work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop software strategy and negotiate contracts to meet technical, financial and performance goals.
• Negotiate large, complex Software and SaaS agreements with top-tier vendors.
• Analyze licensing forms and pricing strategies.
• Gather requirements and identify solutions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Review and draft software licenses and master agreements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align terms with objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships ensuring adherence to terms and development.
• Monitor risk with Cybersecurity, Privacy and Legal considerations.
• Stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes.
