Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU) in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking a Software IPT Lead/Control Account Manager to plan, budget, and lead software teams for the EGI-M program.

You will oversee software development activities, ensure DO-178 compliance, and interact with the customer and leadership to drive program success. The role requires DoD program leadership experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in Software Engineering or related field.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Experience leading DoD software teams and programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a cost account manager for the software engineering responsibilities.
• Oversee planning and execution of software functions for the EGI-M program, with hands-on participation.
• Lead Scrum-Agile ceremonies (PI planning, Sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
• Identify and mitigate execution risks to software development on the program.
• Coordinate staffing across multiple scrum teams with functional managers.
• Present execution plan and progress to customer and senior leadership.
• Collect, manage and report program metrics and TPMs.
• Review software work products for DO-178 objectives and airworthiness needs.
