Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 6 - Software IPT lead to guide software and firmware teams across interceptor, flight test vehicles, and ground support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; 14+ years experience or equivalent.
• Active US Government Security Secret Clearance and ability to obtain SAP access.
• Experience leading technical IPTs and coordinating with external partners.
• Strong understanding of government systems engineering requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and leadership execution for IPT activities, aligning schedules and resources.
• Guide software and firmware teams to deliver reliable product software for test and interceptor systems.
• Communicate risks, trade-offs, and decisions to stakeholders and management.
• Mentor teams and coordinate with internal/external partners to meet milestones.
