Job summary

Makersite is seeking a Software Implementation Engineer to drive customer-focused software deployment and data integration. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to capture requirements, map data flows, and ensure seamless integration across environments.

This role supports end‑to‑end implementation, including trainings and documentation, with a focus on scalable PLM solutions. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in complex software deployment, strong SQL and database design skills, and

  • 3–5 years of experience in complex software implementation.
  • Experience with large data sets and data integration.
  • Strong SQL and database design knowledge.
  • Hands-on coding in Java, Python, or C++.
  • Residing in the US and able to work East Coast hours.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to capture technical requirements and ensure correct data collection.
  • Map data and coordinate with domain experts to ensure seamless integration workflows.
  • Run end-user trainings and provide technical support during implementation.

This role is a fixed, permanent position. All successful applicants will receive a permanent employment contract regardless of location.

The role:
  • Work very closely with our customers to understand their technical requirements and ensure the correct data is collected to gain a clear understanding of their system environments
  • Map relevant data and work closely with domain experts to ensure integration workflows are seamless.
  • Run end‑user trainings
  • Provide technical support to customers during software implementation and deployment
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides, user manuals, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including pre‑sales, product leads, engineering and domain experts to ensure successful customer deployments
  • Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Computer Science or a similar natural science field
  • Minimum of 3-5yrs experience in complex software implementation, data management or similar background
  • Experience working with large data sets and data integration tools
  • High level of understanding of corporate software environments, e.g. PDM, ERP
  • Strong understanding of database design and SQL
  • Hands‑on experience with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Excelling problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Dexterity with software tools and data manipulation & analysis
  • A creative mind that can think outside the box
  • Curiosity to find disruptive as opposed to incremental solutions to tough data problems
  • Residing in and legally permitted to work in the US, East Coast hours.
