Job summary

Makersite is seeking a Software Implementation Engineer to help customers deploy our PLM platform, map data, and enable effective integrations. You will work with data, train users, and document technical specifications while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

You will apply Java, Python, or C++ skills and SQL in complex corporate environments and support us on remote-friendly, permanent engagements across the US East Coast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in complex software implementation, data management or similar background is required.
• Experience with large data sets and data integration tools is essential.
• Strong understanding of corporate software environments (PDM, ERP) is expected.
• Proficiency in database design and SQL.
• Hands-on programming experience in Java, Python, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and collect data for system environment clarity.
• Map data and collaborate with domain experts to ensure seamless integration workflows.
• Run end-user trainings.
• Provide technical support during software implementation and deployment.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including installation guides and user manuals.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, product leads, engineering and domain experts to ensure successful deployments.
