Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager (Level 3) in San Diego, CA. This 100% onsite role leads a large department across NIC Division, driving talent development and multi-program delivery.

You will oversee software, hardware, and systems engineering, champion agile processes, and mentor front-line managers while engaging with stakeholders to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required in scope
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another STEM discipline with 8+ years in engineering and management (or Master’s with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years)
• Experience leading technical teams (Scrum Master/PO/SEIT/PM)
• Experience in managing a team, project work, and current software technologies/tools
• Experience developing, designing, architecting, or deploying large software stacks
• Experience with Software Integration & Test (I&T)
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Strong software configuration management understanding
• High proficiency in complex technical problem solving
