The candidate will coach staff, set objectives, manage resources, and drive design, development and test activities to deliver high-quality transportation software solutions.

Qualifications

• 16+ years in a software engineering role with SDLC knowledge.
• BS in electrical engineering, CS or related field or equivalent with 8+ years as Engineering Manager.
• Proven leadership of teams and projects to meet milestones and control costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Software Development Supervisors/Managers and their teams to hit milestones across multiple projects.
• Assign projects and prepare staff for higher levels of responsibility.
• Review resource plans and ensure alignment across the group.
• Coach and mentor team members to improve performance.
• Manage recruitment activities, performance reviews, timesheets, and leave requests.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure design and testing meet quality standards.
