Job summary

Cubic Transportation Systems, a unit of Cubic Corporation, is seeking a program manager to lead high-technology programs requiring hardware, software, and electro-mechanical development, manufacturing and testing. You will ensure contractual obligations are met within budget and schedule and act as the primary contact with customers for programs valued up to hundreds of millions.

The role requires ten years of related experience, strong leadership, risk management and proficiency in MS Office;

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in electronic, software or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Ten years in technical/engineering roles with seven years in project/program management.
• PMP and advanced degree desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage programs per contracts, policies and department instructions.
• Lead cross-functional program teams across the company.
• Serve as primary customer contact and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Perform risk management, cost/schedule performance and earned value.
• Develop proposals, statements of work and contract negotiations.
