Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in a technical, finance, or business-related discipline.
• Ten+ years of progressive experience in customer-facing contract management roles involving complex system integration-type commercial contracts.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in Contract Management for high dollar value fixed price contracts for infrastructure system-based solutions.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex terms, conditions, and prices and manage flow-downs to subcontractors.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% and have strong MS Word and MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer contract formation and administration for complex, major systems contracts for transit systems from proposal through performance to closeout.
• Lead contractual aspects of major proposals, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, remedies, and IP considerations.
• Act as the contracts department’s primary contact for prime contract and project personnel; handle all related correspondence.
• Monitor contract deliverables for compliance with contract requirements.
• Post-contract management to resolve performance issues, including claims, changes, and terminations, with limited supervision.
• Coordinate submission and negotiation of complex, high-value contract proposals, including change orders.
• Oversee Change Management and advise on strategies to resolve contractual issues with Project Manager.
• Draft and edit contracts; ensure flow-downs to subcontracts; maintain complete contract files.
