Medtronic is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for the Patient Care Systems (PCS) Software team in Minnesota. You will lead a team that develops, verifies, and validates state‑of‑the‑art software delivering critical device and patient data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of technical work experience OR advanced degree in science, technology, engineering, or math with 3 years of technical experience and 3 years of managerial experience.
• Nice to Have Experience in Med‑Tech. Experience as a software developer or technical software leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Smartsync device manager software verification organization, including engineers, contractors, and software vendors.
• Own a credible engineering execution plan balancing priorities, capacity, dependencies, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all engineering work is visible, prioritized and effectively managed.
• Partner with PCS Product Management, Program Management, Quality, Regulatory, Cybersecurity and other stakeholders.
• Lead, coach and develop high‑performing engineering teams with mentorship and accountability.
