Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced Software Verification Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers in verification and automated testing of medical software applications. The role balances people leadership with hands-on engineering, including test development and code reviews.

The candidate will drive high-quality design, development and testing of critical medical software while building capability across the team and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science or related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years' experience with a bachelor's degree or 6 years with a master's.
• Minimum 4 years' experience testing applications across Android, iOS, Windows or Android tablet platforms, including 2 years' experience using Python.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in leadership, supervisory, project management or people management roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and mentor R&D software verification team members, fostering innovation and technical excellence.
• Define verification strategies for assessing, documenting, modifying and testing integrated medical devices.
• Build cross-functional partnerships to drive results and present updates to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards throughout the product life cycle.
