Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of customer-facing software product development experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing software development teams.
• Experience with desktop software development and verification.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, SCRUM, and SAFE frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage projects in a matrix organization.
• Experience mentoring software engineers and testers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers that design, develop, and verify software applications for medical devices (desktop focus).
• Oversee day-to-day technical management including sprint backlog and deliverables.
• Tackle complex problems requiring analysis and investigation.
• Partner with R&D, quality, regulatory, and marketing teams.
• Communicate with stakeholders about ongoing operations.
• Promote best software development practices and scalable processes.
• Lead, coach, and review team performance.
