Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr Software Engineering Manager (Finance) to lead a 15+ software engineers team within the Software Center of Excellence. You will guide development, mentor engineers, and provide technical leadership across programs, while coordinating with third-party teams and driving delivery milestones.

The role requires aerospace experience, real-time avionics software knowledge, and a track record of applying certification standards to complex systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years aerospace experience.
• Experience with certification of avionics systems.
• Experience with real time software and/or avionics systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a software development team of 15+ engineers.
• Provide development plans and career guidance for reports.
• Lead and mentor direct reports with performance feedback.
• Provide technical leadership on programs and projects.
• Coordinate with 3rd party engineering teams.
• Forecast future demand and manage hiring for the team.
• Ensure process compliance training for employees.
• Oversee COE software project development and coordination.
• Foster Honeywell Aerospace behaviors and culture.
• Support internal and external customer interactions.
