Job summary

Veracyte is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead the engineering team for our AI-powered Billing Automation platform. Hybrid role based out of San Diego, CA or South San Francisco, CA with potential remote work.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years in people leadership, and a strong track record delivering enterprise cloud-native software and AI-enabled services for billing and revenue-cycle workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering or related field, or equivalent.
• 6+ years in software engineering with 3+ years leading teams.
• Experience delivering enterprise cloud-native software and integrations.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, IaC, security, observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing software engineering team for AI-powered Billing Automation.
• Define and execute engineering roadmap with cross-functional partners.
• Deliver secure, scalable cloud-native apps and APIs for billing workflows.
• Establish AI integration governance, observability, and human-in-the-loop processes.
• Drive KPIs for software quality and delivery predictability.
