Job summary

NMI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Development team and enhance payment processing services. You will work on scalable, secure systems with an emphasis on billing, invoicing, and data integrity. Expect to use AI-assisted tools daily and mentor teammates while shaping architecture and CI/CD improvements.

Required are 5+ years of experience, strong C# or PHP skills, and a solid foundation in OO design and security. Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing complex software in an agile team.
• Advanced proficiency in C# and/or PHP with solid OO design knowledge.
• Strong SQL/DB design, performance tuning, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core billing and invoicing systems using C# and PHP.
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and drive best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and security measures including PCI considerations.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA for releases.
