Veracyte, Inc. seeks an experienced Software Development Manager to lead the engineering team for our AI-powered Billing Automation platform.

The role focuses on building cloud-native software and enterprise integrations to improve laboratory billing and reimbursement processes. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in software engineering management, delivering secure and scalable systems, and collaborating with product, finance, and AI teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
6+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing software development teams.
Proven experience delivering enterprise software, cloud-native apps, APIs, and integrations.
Experience with AI-enabled products, intelligent automation, or AI integration in production.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a high-performing software engineering team for the AI-Powered Billing Automation platform.
Define and execute the engineering roadmap with cross-functional partners.
Deliver secure, scalable, cloud-native applications and APIs supporting billing and revenue-cycle workflows.
Define AI strategy for billing automation balancing innovation with security and compliance.
Partner with AI engineers and data scientists to prioritize intelligent automation opportunities.
Lead development of AI-powered capabilities like document processing and claims validation.
Design integrations with ERP, CRM, LIS, EMR/EHR, and payer systems.
