Job summary
BTS Software Solutions seeks a Software Engineer Skill Level 3 to support operations in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. The role requires TS/SCI with Poly clearance and involves designing, coding, debugging, and integrating complex software systems across multiple platforms.
You will oversee software teams, develop performance-driven algorithms, review documentation, and ensure compliance with development standards.
Qualifications
- Twenty (20) years of SWE experience in similar scope and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
- Debug existing software and correct defects.
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
- Develop simple data queries for databases or data repositories.
- Write or review software and system documentation.
- Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure work is completed per process.
