Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a System Engineer III with an active TS/SCI w/ POLY to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD. You will analyze requirements, lead design activities, and provide technical leadership for system integration and documentation.

Responsibilities include developing architecture and design documentation, preparing SE plans and test plans, and coordinating with government stakeholders to ensure technical integrity across the program lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs of similar scope is required.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
• Guides users in formulating requirements and conducts feasibility studies.
• Provides technical leadership for integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Develops system Architecture and system design documentation.
• Guides system development and implementation planning through system engineering management plans and test plans.
• Communicates with Government about SE considerations and issues.
