L3Harris Technologies in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Senior Associate, Software Engineering to join a dynamic, classified environment and help deliver end-to-end cloud solutions for national security programs.

You will contribute to Ground Software and Image Science, develop in Java, C++, Python, work on Linux deployments, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure mission readiness and robust security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, CS, CE, or related STEM field and relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Ability to work effectively in a mission‑focused team environment
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI or SCI eligibility

Responsibilities

• Assess, troubleshoot, and triage deployed software in operational environments
• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using Java, C++, Python
• Support software deployment, integration, and sustainment activities in Linux environments
• Diagnose and resolve software defects, performance issues, and system integration problems
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering and mission teams to deliver reliable software capabilities
• Support debugging, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for fielded systems
• Participate in software design, code reviews, testing, and configuration management processes
• Ensure software solutions meet mission, security, and performance requirements
