Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Software Engineer (Cloud Developer) to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications using AWS. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and on-site work at Patrick Space Force Base in Melbourne, FL.

Responsibilities include migrating applications to cloud architecture, ensuring security and cost-effectiveness, and collaborating with customers to deliver tailored cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD IAT Level II Certification within 80 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience, or Graduate Degree with 2+ years; or 8+ years of experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy cloud-based applications on AWS.
• Migrate existing apps to cloud architecture.
• Ensure scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness of cloud solutions.
• Interact with customers to gather requirements and provide cloud-based solutions.
• Produce detailed design, development, and deployment documentation.
• Adapt to support various mission areas and maintain mission focus.
