Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a highly skilled Specialist, Software Engineer/Cloud Developer to join the team at Melbourne, FL (Patrick Space Force Base). The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying scalable AWS cloud-based applications with an active TS/SCI clearance, working onsite.

You will migrate apps to cloud architectures and ensure secure, cost-effective deployments. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s (or higher) with years of relevant experience and DoD IAT II certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience; graduate degree adds value.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• DoD IAT Level II Certification must be obtained within 80 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications on AWS.
• Migrate existing applications to cloud-based architecture.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions using AWS best practices.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and deliver cloud solutions.
• Produce detailed documentation for design, development, and deployment.
