Job summary

Trumid is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our AI-native engineering team and help build the core trading systems of our platform. You will work on Aeron-based workflows, contribute to a scalable service architecture, and ship features rapidly while preserving quality.

The role emphasizes observability, testing, and performance, with a focus on capital markets and electronic trading. You will collaborate across teams and leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in capital markets or trading workflows.
• Proficiency in JVM-based languages (Scala preferred); ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable distributed systems.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, FIX, Kafka, or Aeron messaging concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test protocols and features to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Support and maintain services, addressing production issues and improving operational processes.
• Optimize performance for low latency and high throughput in trading systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects and contribute to a team-oriented culture.
