Job summary

Wells Fargo is seeking a senior software engineer to lead full-stack development initiatives, focusing on Workday technologies and AI-assisted tooling. You will design, code, test, and deploy enterprise solutions while maintaining security, scalability, and resiliency.

The role requires 4+ years in software engineering, strong Workday experience, and proficiency with .NET, Python, React, and cloud-native architectures. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
• Strong application engineering experience designing and building enterprise applications
• Full-stack development experience using modern front-end and back-end technologies
• Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or comparable AI-assisted software development tools
• Workday experience, including familiarity with Workday APIs, integrations, data models, or Workday Extend
• Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks such as .NET, Python, React, or comparable technologies
• Experience with cloud-native application development and modern application architecture
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development for code generation, refactoring, unit testing, documentation, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of secure coding practices, application security, authentication and authorization, observability, and production resiliency
• Experience integrating custom applications with enterprise SaaS platforms
• Experience developing technology solutions supporting Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning, or related domains
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, architecture, and business teams
• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments


• Contribute to large-scale planning of strategies


• Design, code, test, debug, and document technology projects and programs, including upgrades and deployments


• Review moderately complex technical challenges and evaluate technologies and procedures


• Resolve technical issues and lead a team to meet client needs


• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals


• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, providing guidance to less experienced staff


• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from solution design through production implementation and support

Requirements
