Job summary

Higharc is seeking a hands-on Sr. Software Engineer to bring framing and structural analysis to the products used by homebuilders. This is a remote role in the United States with opportunities to grow into a tech lead as the team scales.

You’ll design algorithms for framing analysis, write robust tests, and collaborate closely with product, customer success, and engineers to deliver reliable software. A background in structural/mechanical engineering and experience with TypeScript and

Qualifications

3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
Proficiency in TypeScript.
Structural or mechanical engineering background is a plus.
Experience with computational geometry and mathematical modeling.
Familiar with AI-assisted workflows and modern development tools.

Responsibilities

Design and implement algorithms for framing and structural analysis.
Write tests to ensure correctness, maintainability, and reliability.
Collaborate with product, customer success, and other engineers to define behavior and surface gaps.
Mentor others as the team grows and navigate ambiguity on an emerging team.
Contribute to shaping the technical direction of a new team.
