Job summary

Higharc is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to architect and deliver the Home Design Experience, a browser-based 3D design tool. You will lead technical decisions, write production code, and mentor others while delivering customer-ready software.

You will shape patterns with the platform team and drive AI-enabled interactions for an intuitive design experience. The role is fully remote within the United States, reporting to the VP of Engineering, with equity, comprehensive health benefits,

Qualifications

Extensive hands-on experience building web applications from design to production.
Deep expertise with TypeScript and React.
Experience with 3D web apps or CAD tools is a plus.
Ability to mentor others and guide technical strategy.

Responsibilities

Move fast and turn rough ideas into production-ready software.
Lead development of interactive 3D home design workflows and integrate UI, design data, and real-time 3D scenes.
Own architecture and delivery across frontend, state, and service integrations, focusing on performance and reliability.
Partner with product/UX lead to challenge assumptions and decide what to build next.
Implement critical components personally to keep delivery moving.
Collaborate with platform team to reuse patterns and document them for future Higharc apps.
Help less experienced engineers through pairing, code reviews, and guidance.
