Job summary

PNC seeks a Software Engineer Lead for its Site Reliability Engineering Center (SRC), based in one of PNC's IT Hubs: Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Dallas, Birmingham, Phoenix or Denver. You will design and deliver scalable software solutions, lead technical design, and guide development across Java/Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and data platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software design and development for complex solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, microservices, and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
• Facilitates complex problem resolution.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
