Job summary

PNC is seeking a Software Engineer Lead in SRC Retail RTB, based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA. This role provides technical leadership across enterprise applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and cloud-native, microservices platforms.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in CI/CD, observability, and incident management, and will define SLIs/SLOs, lead incident response, and develop runbooks. Strong collaboration across teams is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant/ direct industry experience.
• Certifications are often desired.
• In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Propose & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
• Facilitates complex problem resolution.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
• Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
