Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• High School Diploma/GED with 7 years experience.
• 5 years in software development including distributed systems and cloud platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform including scripting (JavaScript/Glide), Flow Designer, and custom app development.
• Direct experience with ServiceNow SPM (or ITBM/PPM) portfolio, program, project, demand, or resource management modules.
• Comfortable working with both technical stakeholders and business/PMO partners to shape requirements into working solutions.
• Track record of owning technical solutions end-to-end in a senior or lead capacity.
• Roughly 5+ years of ServiceNow experience, or equivalent depth.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead implementation of medium-to-large features or services end to end
• Make and document architectural decisions; weigh trade-offs across scalability, cost, and maintainability
• Mentor and support the growth of less-senior engineers through code review and pairing
• Partner closely with product and engineering leadership on roadmap and technical feasibility
• Help improve engineering practices — testing, deployment, observability, incident response
