Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts plus 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages.
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools with focus on code quality, performance and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows; coaching teams on safe adoption.
• Proficient across the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of CI/CD, Application Resiliency and Security.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
• Practical cloud native experience.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and technical troubleshooting.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with standardized validation and testing.
• Uses SDLC tools to improve value of automation and delivery.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation for stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture and credentials.
