Job summary

You will drive responsible use of AI tools, ensure secure coding and compliance, and partner with security to maintain health and auditable software delivery in a rapidly evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Experience building secure, production-grade applications with application health, vulnerability management, dependency hygiene, and technical debt reduction.
• Experience with lifecycle management including modernization, deprecated components remediation, and risk identification across software portfolios.
• Experience leading enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and compliance in engineering workflows.
• Proficiency in CI/CD, automated testing strategies, secure coding standards, and peer review processes.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption and governance of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes, with measurable validation standards.
• Champion application health standards across the engineering organization, building secure, resilient, and well-architected applications from inception.
• Lead technical lifecycle management, remediating aging components, deprecated dependencies, and vulnerabilities before they cause risk.
• Partner with architecture and security teams to embed secure-by-design principles into development workflows.
• Evaluate and guide teams on responsible use of agentic AI coding tools, with human-in-the-loop validation and secure data handling.
• Contribute to evolution of engineering standards and toolchain automation to reduce toil and improve traceability.
• Mentor engineers across levels to elevate capability in AI-enabled development and technical lifecycle practices.
• Drive governance of AI-assisted practices with measurable standards for secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to enhance automation and auditability in delivery pipelines.
