Job summary

JPMorganChase in Columbus is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer within CTO to drive end-to-end delivery of secure, scalable technology products. You will work on a greenfield project addressing software dependency risk, leveraging AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery and ensure high-quality production code.

You will collaborate with US/UK product managers, engineers, and designers, own architectural decisions, and mentor teams while aligning with enterprise governance and security

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience delivering data-intensive systems.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership end-to-end - from design through deployment and production support.
• Build and scale core platform capabilities: data ingestion pipelines and dependency analysis.
• Provide technical guidance to teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Write production-quality Java on AWS, including APIs and data pipelines.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality and speed.
• Promote governance and secure coding practices across teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to ship features.
• Act as a subject matter expert in at least one focus area.
