JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join our Commercial & Investment Bank technology team in Plano, TX. You will design and deliver market-leading, secure software solutions within an agile environment, contributing across the SDLC and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to enhance quality and speed.

Responsibilities include building robust production code, creating architecture artifacts, and analyzing large datasets to drive continuous improvement and system resilience.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering.
• 3+ years of applied software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or breakdown technical problems.
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Leverages enterprise-approved AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables, while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools including AI-assisted development to improve automation value.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures design constraints are met by code.
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and visualizes data to support continuous improvement of software applications.
• Identifies hidden patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
