Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Software Engineer III to join a seasoned agile team within the Commercial and Investment Bank.

You will design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way, executing solutions across multiple technical areas to support business objectives. You will craft production code, employ AI-assisted development tools, and create architecture artifacts while ensuring secure coding standards and collaboration with peers and stakeholders

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software development experience.
Hands-on automation using Java and test frameworks.
Experience with CI/CD and modern SDLC practices.
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and secure coding.
Exposure to agile (Scrum) teams and tooling like JIRA.

Responsibilities

Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting across complex problems.
Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
Uses enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity with peer review.
Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to enhance automation value.
Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex apps.
Gathers and analyzes large data sets to visualize and improve software.
Identify hidden data patterns to drive coding hygiene and architecture improvements.
