Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Software Engineer to scale the Metrics Platform behind Weights & Biases’ flagship Models product. You will lead data ingestion, storage, and querying at a petabyte scale, balancing near‑term deliverables with long‑term architectural improvements.

You’ll mentor engineers, design customer-facing APIs, and collaborate across product, revenue, and engineering teams to keep the platform competitive and reliable.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend performance and/or distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Go, TypeScript, etc.).
• Experience designing and scaling customer-facing APIs in production, leveraging systems such as MySQL, ClickHouse, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, or Kafka.

• Scale metrics and storage systems to meet the needs of advanced customers and drive architectural improvements.
• Set technical direction and mentor engineers while partnering with product, revenue, and engineering teams to evolve the platform.
