Job summary

Weights & Biases, now part of CoreWeave, is seeking a Software Engineer to scale our metrics and storage systems for our flagship Models product. You will lead efforts to optimize data ingestion, storage, and querying at scale, and partner with multiple teams to evolve the platform.

You will mentor engineers, set technical direction, and design resilient APIs while collaborating with product and revenue teams to meet customer demands.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering with backend/distributed systems focus.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience designing and scaling APIs using MySQL/Clickhouse/Bigtable/Pub/Sub/Kafka.
• Hands-on Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud provider experience (GCP/AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to scale metrics and storage systems for the flagship Models product.
• Set technical direction and balance short-term deliverables with long-term architectural improvements.
• Partner with product, revenue, and engineering teams to evolve the platform and meet customer demands.
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices across the organization.
