Job summary

CoreWeave, the AI hyperscaler, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the architecture and evolution of core systems in the Weights & Biases platform. You will drive ML Workflows, Artifacts, Registry, Automations, and Launch, collaborating with product, design, and ML teams.

You will work across Go backend services, GraphQL APIs, the Python SDK, and the TypeScript frontend, mentoring engineers and shaping scalable solutions for enterprise ML workloads.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including time leading significant technical initiatives or architectural changes.
• Strong proficiency in Go, or in another compiled language with the ability to ramp on Go quickly; Python working proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and evolution of a core platform area, designing systems that scale to billions of artifacts and high-volume event and job throughput.
• Dive deep into system architecture to optimize, fix critical bugs, and balance short-term delivery with long-term platform health.
• Work across the stack from Go backend services and GraphQL APIs to the Python SDK and the TypeScript frontend.
• Lead migrations and re-architecture of systems carrying live customer traffic with minimal disruption.
• Identify and refactor technical debt to improve maintainability and developer productivity.
• Establish engineering patterns and best practices as the platform grows.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate complex requirements into clean technical implementations.
• Engage with customers to understand ML workflow challenges and feed insights back to the product cycle.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the team.
