Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Boston is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, build and operate high-performance database migration services.

You will tackle distributed systems challenges, replicate data securely at scale across diverse databases, and contribute to the future directions of the AWS DMS family. Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming in at least one software language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best practices in large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate database migration services that replicate data at scale.
• Solve challenging distributed systems problems for various database technologies.
