Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Data Visualization team to design, develop, and maintain AI-powered solutions that enhance decision making.

You will guide the team as an AI expert, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices across development efforts. The role emphasizes hands-on AI agent work, BI platform proficiency (Power BI preferred), and cloud and on-premises application development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in application development.
• 3-5 years of experience with AI tools.
• Hands-on experience building and implementing AI agents or similar AI powered solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau, or a similar reporting/BI platform; Power BI experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience developing applications in Azure/cloud environments as well as on-premise environments.

Position Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Data Visualization team , you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications and AI- powered solutions that improve business outcomes and decision making. You will serve as technical leader and AI subject matter expert, helping guide the team in the effective use of AI technologies. You will conduct code reviews and promote clean, efficient, and maintainable development and help establish best practices and continuously improve how the team develops and delivers technology solutions.

You’ll Come With
