Job summary

VIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build secure, scalable software underpinning its mission in privacy-preserving Web3 and cryptography. You will lead design of microservices, implement CI/CD pipelines, and champion best practices in testing, performance, and cross-functional collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

In this role you will rapidly grasp new concepts, drive innovation, and help integrate advanced privacy and cryptography technologies while mentoring

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or science.
5+ years of relevant full stack or backend development experience.
Strong experience with cloud-based software development in a microservices environment and cryptography techniques.
Proficiency in documentation and communicating technical processes to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of core software components including secure, scalable microservices.
Integrate Web3 components and privacy-preserving technologies to deliver innovative platform functionality.
Define and drive end-to-end SDLC processes; develop CI/CD automation pipelines.
Develop and execute automated testing strategies; monitor and optimize performance of applications.
Provide technical leadership in privacy and security; articulate complex designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
