Job summary

VIA is seeking a Senior DevOps Specialist to join our DevOps team and lead deployment, security, and reliability of our Web3 data and identity protection solutions. You will own key infrastructure components, drive automation, and collaborate across engineering to address critical priorities and upcoming development cycles.

You will design and operate cloud infrastructure, CI/CD tooling, and monitoring while embedding security controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role, with demonstrated success in a high-growth technical environment.
• Deep technical understanding of IT infrastructure integration, Unix/Linux, DNS, storage systems, firewalls, TCP/UDP/IP behavior, and data flows between systems.
• High proficiency in application deployment (Kubernetes, IaC like Terraform, Docker), configuration and monitoring (System logs, Kibana, Grafana).
• Experience with AWS, and/or Azure, or GCP cloud services.
• Experience managing network infrastructure, protocols, troubleshooting, and security (firewalls, security groups, OS/container hardening, PEN testing).
• Experience with compliance standards (CJIS, CMMC, SOC2) and Python/shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Shape and operate infrastructure and deployment systems for VIA’s Web3 data and identity protection solutions.
• Build, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tooling.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response to keep systems healthy.
• Embed security controls into automated pipelines and align infrastructure with compliance obligations.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and product teams to prioritize infrastructure work and resources.
• Identify and implement AI tools and agents to automate remediation, anomaly detection, and evidence collection.
