Trusted Space, LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer with a bachelor’s degree or higher and 8+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance software applications using modern C++ or Rust in a collaborative, agile environment.

The position is remote within the United States, offering a competitive salary range and opportunities to lead a small team through the full software lifecycle while contributing to Rust or C++ initiatives.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related.
• 8+ years in software engineering or related experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Rust or C++ (preferably C++11 or newer).
• Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments (Mostly Linux).

Responsibilities

• Supports product milestone objectives to include software development in a collaborative unclassified environment.
• Assists in the review and evaluation of systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety.
• Leading a small team of high performing developers across the full software development lifecycle.
• Comfortable contributing to Rust applications.
