Trusted Space, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications in a hybrid work model based in Chantilly, VA (with Aurora, CO as needed). Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or higher and 8+ years of experience, plus an active TS/SCI clearance.

The role emphasizes Rust or C++ development, object-oriented design, debugging, and optimization in a collaborative, agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering or related experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Rust or C++ (preferably C++11 or newer).
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supports milestone objectives to include software development in a collaborative unclassified environment.
• Assists in the review and evaluation of systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety.
• Leading a small team of high performing developers across the full software development lifecycle.
• Comfortable contributing to Rust applications.
