Job summary

Trusted Space is seeking a Software Developer with a bachelor’s degree or higher and 8+ years’ experience to join our team. Candidates will design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications using C++20 or Rust.

Job Description

Trusted Space is seeking a Software Developer with a bachelor’s degree or higher and 8+ years’ experience to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience with modern C++ or Rust, object-oriented design, debugging, and optimizing complex systems, and works effectively in a collaborative, agile development environment.

Qualifications

• United States citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years in software engineering or related experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Rust or C++ (preferably C++20 or newer).
• 3+ years of experience with Python.
• Experience with user interface development.
• Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments (Mostly Linux).

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience with Agile Methodology.
• Experience with database programming (e.g. MongoDB).
• Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker).
• Experience with Cesium Visualization.
• Experience developing software for space or aerospace/industrial controls preferred.
• Knowledgeable in satellite systems, ground-based mission systems or mission operations.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $225,000. Please note that this range is a general guideline and can vary. Trusted Space, LLC considers several factors when extending an offer including, but not limited to: scope, location, position responsibilities, education/training, key skills and business considerations.
