Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Software Developer III to design, develop, test, and maintain complex software applications in a 100% remote environment. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor teammates, and collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and operations to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS or related field and 5+ years of experience with SDLC, design principles, and robust debugging.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise software.
Experience with full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Strong understanding of OO design and development best practices.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain complex software applications and services.
Enhance existing software systems through performance improvements and feature development.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to design decisions.
Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code following standards.
Review requirements and specifications to determine implementation strategies.
Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to team members.
Collaborate with product owners, engineers, architects, QA, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple environments.
Create and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
Support software testing, deployment, and production readiness.
Research and evaluate new technologies to improve team effectiveness.
Lead or contribute to technical projects involving vendors.
