Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Back End IV to provide technical leadership in building scalable, secure enterprise applications. The role focuses on Java/J2EE, Spring, and cloud-native architectures with strong emphasis on Terraform for IaC.

You will mentor teams, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate with product owners to translate requirements into robust solutions. On-site in Cincinnati, OH, with a focus on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Nine or more years of experience in Java/J2EE development for enterprise applications.
• Expert-level Java programming with Spring (Boot, Cloud, Security).
• Proven ability to design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of complex enterprise applications using Java/J2EE.
• Architect and implement cloud-based solutions including compute, serverless, databases, and messaging.
• Design, develop, and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure for cloud resources.
• Develop and consume RESTful and SOAP web services; ensure performance, security, and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to engineers.
